In 2011, Anthony Petrello and his wife Cynthia Petrello received the Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service. The award is given to people who have served the community and have shown commitment towards making the world a better place. The couple has been involved with many different charities and worthy causes making them the leading philanthropists in the country. They have also helped set up a Texas Children’s Neurological Research Institute. The newly formed Institute carries out educational, clinical and research programs on children with certain neurological disorders.
