Alexandre Gama is a Brazilian entrepreneur who is best known for his company Neogama. He is CEO and COO of this advertising agency; one of the top 20 in Brazil. Alexandre Gama earned his degree from Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation and began working in 1982 as a copywriter for Standard Ogilvy & Mather. Alexandre Gama stayed there for 8 years, until he became a copywriter and Creative Director for DM9 in 1990. In his 4 short years there, he received more awards than anyone else in history.
Alexandre Gama has also worked for agencies like Young & Rubicom as their CEO and CCO and Almap BBDO as their Creative Executive Director. In 1999, he left his CEO position at Young & Rubicom to branch out on his own. He founded Neogama, an advertising agency that would quickly reach success.
He would become the first Latin American to present the Master Class at the Cannes Festival and in 2012, he became a board member at the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies (ABAP). He was a Foreman for the jury of the British Foundation D&AD and founded VIOLAB in 2014. VIOLAB is an instrumental project that has the goal of promoting the best music by acoustic Brazilian players.
