Coriant has been successfully lead by Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, Shaygan Kheradpir. He has lead Coriant to be expanded over 100 countries leading in the innovative network solutions. Shaygan has over 28 years of experience in the field of business and technology. He initially started his career in a GTE Corporation and eventually moved over to Verizon as the Chief Information Officer. He ensured that the company was operating in a efficient manner and oversaw the innovation of the product initiatives. As a Chief Operations and Technology Officer, he started working for Barclays. Barclays company had a program called TRANSFORM, which Shaygan was responsible for leading the company through the historical transformation of the bank. It covered the business of 50 countries and 150,000 employees. After working for Baryclays, he ventured to a new line of business call Juniper Networks. He became the CEO of the company, and started working on developing an Integrated Operating Plan.
Shaygan attended Cornell University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering. He also received his Masters degree and obtained his PH.D in engineering as well. With many years of experience, Shaygan continues his mission to drive and provide changes that matter with efficiency and careful strategic planning. These missions are geared towards customers, employees, communities and investors. He has multiple pending patents and has served on the advisory board of the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology. He has also served on the Cornell University Engineering Council.
